Don is a founder, managing director and vice chairman of MGI securities. He is also a founder and past director of Jovian Capital, a public company. Don has 27 years experience in the investment industry, was a Senior Vice President of RBC Dominion Securities and a Managing Director of Gordon Capital. He has aided, directed and financed many early stage companies.
John Moses, Director
John is the founder of Winteroad Mineral Corporation and Gilead Mineral Corporation. These mineral prospecting companies are key players in significant commercial discoveries of gold, silver and cobalt in Northeastern Ontario. John has served as an executive officer with both the Ontario Provincial Ministry of Industry and Tourism and the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. He has also worked as a commercial pilot in Northern Ontario.
Jeff Green, Director
Jeff Green is a Managing Partner with Jovian Assest Management. Jeff has a wealth of experience, expertise and insight gained over 35 years in the financial services industry. He is a former Chairman and co-C.E.O. of Gordon Capital Corp., an independent Canadian investment dealer, and was most recently founder and Chairman of Paradigm Capital Ltd., a successful specialist investment dealer.
Victor Bradley, Director
Mr. Bradley was the Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer of Yamana Resources Inc., renamed Yamana Gold Inc. in 2003. Mr. Bradley is also the Founder of Aura Gold Inc., renamed Aura Minerals Inc. in 2007, and Nevoro Inc. Currently, Mr. Bradley is Chairman of Osisko Exploration Ltd. and sits on the boards of several resource companies. Mr. Bradley is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years experience in the minerals industry, holding senior financial and executive positions with a wide range of mining and exploration companies.
Robert McLeese, Director
Robert McLeese is the President and founder of Access Capital Corp. Mr. McLeese is a Past President of IPPSO and is currently a Director & Treasurer of APPrO (the successor IPP industry association) and past Chairman of the Toronto Board of Trade Electricity Task Force. Mr. McLeese was a Director of Pristine Power Inc., owner of the York Energy Center (393 MW), before its acquisition by Veresen Inc. in 2010. He is also a past Director and Treasurer of the Toronto Atmospheric Fund, a past Member of the Board of Management of the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Energy and a past Director of Creststreet Power and Income Fund which developed three wind farms totaling 159 MW.
Mr. McLeese is the President and CEO of American Consumer Industries Inc. (ACI), which owns and operates 124 MW of solid fuelled power plants in the U.S.. Mr. McLeese received his Chartered Accountancy designation from Peat Marwick in 1978, was awarded an MBA from McMaster University in 1977 and received his B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario in 1974.
Gary Litwack, Director
Gary Litwack is a Partner with McCarthy Tetrault. His practice focuses on public and private equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions and securities regulation, with special emphasis on transactions involving mining companies. He also advises independent committees of boards of directors regarding "related party" and significant material transactions and circumstances, and dealers and advisors on investment funds and registration compliance.
He is co-editor of the firm’s mining industry periodical, Mining Prospects, and is included in the 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada for Natural Resources Law. Mr. Litwack received his LLB from the University of Ottawa in 1988 and his LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1992. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1990.
Frank Bajc, Director & Chief Operating Officer
Frank has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, with a proven track record in business development, project development and plant operations. Frank has been actively involved in the evolution of the energy markets in Ontario since the beginning of the market restructure in the province, and in international markets, including combined cycle, cogeneration, and renewable project development, construction, and operations support.
His wide ranging experience includes business development, contract management, procurement, construction management and plant design support along with operations management services, to independent and regulated power producers, oil sands processing, refinery, and petrochemical companies. Since 2002, Frank has participated as a senior member of development teams that have closed on over $3.0 billion in new energy facilities in Ontario, representing 2400 MW.
